The Power of
Professional Networking
About the Conference
Elevate Her Conference is a conference for Black Women. Put on by Black Women Connect Vancouver (BWCV) and Black Business Association of British Columbia (BBABC) this conference is an engaging and interactive event. Attendees are encouraged to build relationships and learn from one another, while actively participating in sessions and experiences that foster growth and creativity. Aspiring and established leaders will redefine leadership by exploring how we are all leaders in our individual spheres.
Our Mission
Fostering an environment where participants are encouraged to establish meaningful connections and gain knowledge from one another as well as actively engage in sessions and activities that promote personal and professional growth, as well as creativity.
Both aspiring and established Black women leaders will have the opportunity to reshape their understanding of leadership by delving into the concept that each of us possesses leadership qualities within our own unique domains. The primary goal is to increase the understanding and the role of Black women in leadership and to introduce and provide resources that will support in actualizing dreams.
Collectively, the Elevate Her partners believe that collaboration is the foundation that helps build a strong network of Black women leaders. We believe that the Elevate Her Conference will foster economic inclusion by promoting Black women’s leadership development through the power of professional networking. Elevate Her Conference will also help Black women develop ways to refer business to one another, champion each other’s career trajectories, and work toward comprehensive inclusion of Black women.
